Site work for a mixed-use development in Saint Louis, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
The Scope of Work consists of the construction of a new pedestrian bridge, connecting trails, and related site work. General items of work include removal of the existing (remaining) bridge substructure, site excavation and grading, driven steel piles, reinforced concrete bridge abutments, rock blanket, prefabricated steel truss bridge superstructure, reinforced concrete bridge deck, asphalt trail connections, pedestrian fence, and other related or incidental work as shown in the plans and specifications. Two copies of the bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope with the project name, date, and time of opening clearly written on the envelope. A bid security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid amount must accompany each bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Not less than the prevailing hourly rate of wages shall be paid to all workers performing under this Contract in this area according to the rates determined by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations of the State of Missouri. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any bid and to waive any irregularities in the best interest of the City. Question Deadline 03/31/2026 Bidders may request clarification or interpretation of the Bidding Documents by making a written request which shall reach the City at least seven (7) days prior to the date for receipt of bids.
