Renovation of a multi-residential development in Clinton, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
The project involves the Siding Replacement at the Webster Apartments in Clinton, IL, and includes all labor, supervision, materials, supplies, transportation, equipment, and services necessary and required as set forth in the Contract Documents. Bidders are required to submit sealed bid proposals. All bids must be accompanied by a negotiable bid guarantee of not less than five percent (5%) of the bid amount, in the form of a certified check, bank draft, or satisfactory bid bond. Prior to contract execution, the successful bidder must provide satisfactory performance and payment bond(s) in a sum of 100% of the contract price. Bidders must comply with equal employment opportunity provisions, pay not less than the minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the specifications, and submit the Contractor's Affirmative Action Certification. Required forms include HUD 5369-A, HUD-2530, Non-Collusive Affidavit, and a Schedule of Subcontractors. All forms in Specification Section 00 6005, including the Section 3 Clause and Section 3 Assurances, must be signed and submitted. Bidders must thoroughly examine the project documents and site to determine existing conditions. The contract will be awarded to the lowest, most responsive, and responsible bid for all work performed. The DeWitt County Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in the bidding process.
