City of Enumclaw RBC Buildings Remodel Project The City of Enumclaw (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the RBC Buildings Remodel Project. The Project will include the following Work: demolition of interior concrete structures, asbestos sampling and removal, ceiling slab joint strengthening, installation of new interior concrete floors, walls, stairs, guardrails, grating, insulation, coatings, doors, signage, heating and ventilation systems, water and gas plumbing, interior lighting, electrical and instrumentation systems, chemical storage tanks, chemical feed systems, gas utility trenching, and other minor site modifications, at the Owner’s existing wastewater treatment plant. A non-mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held at 11:00 A.M. local time on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at the Project Site, the City of Enumclaw Wastewater Treatment Plant at 451 Semanski Street South, Enumclaw, WA, 98022. For all requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Questions regarding the Bidding Documents may be submitted to Scott Woodbury, via e-mail at swoodbury@ci.enumclaw.wa.us. It is anticipated that this project will be funded in part by the Washington State Department of Ecology. Neither the State of Washington nor any of its departments or employees are, or shall be, a party to any contract or any subcontract resulting from this solicitation for bids. The Successful bidder will be required to conform to the wage requirements prescribed by the federal Davis-Bacon and Relate Acts which requires that all laborers and mechanics employed by contractors and subcontractors performing on contracts funded in whole or in part by SRF appropriations in excess of $2000 pay their laborers and mechanics not less than the prevailing wage rates and fringe benefits, and determined by the Secretary of Labor, for corresponding classes of laborers and mechanics employed on similar projects in the area.
