The City of Burlington is seeking bids from experienced and qualified contractors to provide permanent restoration of asphalt and concrete paving, sidewalks, curbs, driveway approaches, topsoil, and sod within the City of Burlington on an as-required basis for utility cuts. Utility cuts are produced by private contractors, Enbridge Gas, telecommunications companies, Halton Region, and Burlington Hydro. The contract will also facilitate resident requests for driveway widenings (sidewalk and curb works) when required. The contract will be for a first term of one year, with up to four optional one-year extensions based on the same terms and conditions and upon mutual agreement between the vendor and the city, and contingent upon sufficient budget, program needs, and/or council approval if applicable.
