Scope of work by contractor: - Contractor submitting a bid confirms they are available to complete this work by June 1, 2026. - Contractor shall purchase wire, conduit, outlets, fuses, junction boxes and all necessary hardware to complete the work, whether specifically called for or not in the attached documentation. - Due to the repair nature of this work, the city has not applied for a building permit. - Contractor shall investigate on-site each pedestal and determine the parts required to replace branch circuits or main breakers as noted on the Schedule of Bid Prices. - Contractor shall coordinate the work schedule with fairgrounds admin team. - Contractor shall call the City of Petaluma inspector upon completion of work. - Contractor shall prepare or coordinate necessary drawings to convey the modifications to the pedestals. - Contractor shall figure into their cost the purchase price of all materials and any equipment required to complete the work. - Contractor shall include all disposal costs assumed to be included in the items above. All installation and finish work, incidental materials, vehicle, equipment, and insurance costs required for the scope of work described as included in the items above and no additional payments will be made therefor. Instructions to bidders: - Bid Bond is not required with the submittal of the Schedule of Bid Prices; the City will not require the Faithful Performance Bond or the Maintenance Bond. The Labor and Materials Bond will be required if the negotiated contract is greater than $25,000 per Public Contract Code. Any Bonds required after the submittal of the Schedule of Bid Prices will be compensated as the actual cost of the Bond. - Award of Contract: the City of Petaluma will award the contract to the lowest price given for the Schedule of Bid Prices Total up to $33,000.
