Demolition, site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Bolivar, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the construction of a 14,000-square-foot office development; 6,800-square-foot industrial development; and 3,000-square-foot service station / car wash facility.
The work consists of a multi-phased project including the construction of a new 14,000 sf administration facility, a 6,800 sf warehouse, a 3,000 sf vehicle maintenance building, various storage buildings, and supportive site improvements. The new facility will be built in two phases adjacent to the existing facility, which will then be demolished. Proposals must be submitted on the provided forms and accompanied by proposal security in the form of a certified check or acceptable bid bond equal to at least 5% of the base bid. This security will be forfeited as liquidated damages (not penalty) by any bidder who fails to execute the contract and post the required performance bond. Plans and specifications are available for view and purchase online. Partial sets will not be issued. All bids exceeding $25,000 by a prime or subcontractor must comply with Tennessee law. The owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities. Bids must be received by the scheduled date and cannot be withdrawn for forty-five (45) days after the closing time.
