North Country Rural Development (NRDC) is soliciting proposals from qualified site work contractors to complete demolition and site preparation activities associated with the replacement of a substandard manufactured home. This includes demolition, foundation preparation, utility connections, grading, and related work necessary to prepare the site for installation of a new manufactured home. Contractors are responsible for confirming all field dimensions, site conditions, and detectable defects prior to bidding and must coordinate with both NRDC and the manufactured home installer. Work includes preparing and submitting a site plan, securing permits, performing site evaluation, complete demolition and removal of the existing manufactured home, foundation preparation, excavation and grading, utility trenching and connections, constructing steps/landings/ramps to code and ADA requirements, and site restoration (final grading, topsoil, seeding, drainage). Proposals must include company information, required licenses, insurance, an itemized cost estimate, project timeline, and a description of similar completed projects, if available. MWBE goals are set at 20%. Instructions to bidders require submission of a proposal with all required documentation by the specified due date and coordination with local authorities for approval and compliance with local, state, and HUD requirements.
