Renovation of a water / sewer project in Huntington, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The purpose of the project is to provide a new Advanced Oxidation Process treatment system and associated building extension at the District's Plant No. 15 for 1,4-dioxane removal, located on Downs Road. Contract E - Electrical Construction Each proposal submitted must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, made payable to the South Huntington Water District, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid, as a commitment by the bidder that, if its bid is accepted, it will enter into a contract to perform the work and will execute such further security as may be required for the faithful performance of the contract. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any informalities and to accept such bid which, in the opinion of the Owner, is in the best interests of the Owner. Document Note: As a convenience to the Contractor, Digital Bidding Documents may be obtained from online as an online download for a non-refundable fee of One Hundred Dollars ($100.00), paid by credit card.
