REPLACMENT OF BOILERS AT SECOND POLICE PRECINCT (C0037) TOWN OF HUNTINGTON CAPITAL PROJECT NO. 1664 The work consists ofthe following: Removal of existing boilers, associated burners, existing domestic hot water heaters, and all appurtenances. Installation of three new condensing boilers, associated concrete pad, expansion tank, hot water piping, valves, fittings, power wiring, control wiring, and conduits. Bidders shall submit with their bids, a separate sealed list that names each subcontractor that the bidder will use to perform work on the contract, and the agreed-upon amount to be paid to each as applicable, for: (a) plumbing and gas fitting (i.e., Plumbing Work), (b) steam heating, hot water heating, ventilating and air conditioning apparatus (Le., HVAC Work which includes fire sprinkler) and (c) electric wiring and standard illuminating fixtures (i.e., Electrical Work). The apparent low bidder's subcontract information will be opened and read aloud at the bid opening. Bids for this contract shall be submitted in a separate sealed envelope with the name of the contract clearly noted on the outside of the envelope. Bids shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total Base Bid, made payable to the Suffolk County Comptroller. This bid bond will be held as a guarantee that in the event the bid is accepted and contract awarded to the Bidder, the contract will be duly executed and properly secured.
