Sealed proposals are requested for NYS DRI NY Avenue Streetscape Improvements, Contract No. ES 2026-02/O-E. The Town of Huntington reserves the right to waive informalities, reject any or all bids, or accept and award the contract to a responsible formal Bidder in the best interest of the Town. Prospective bidders are asked to fill out requested information to access the BID details. Within Curblines - Drainage structures and pipeConcrete curb, ramps, and sidewalks at bulb-outs- All corresponding fulldepth roadway repairs- Cleaning of existing drainage structures and pipes and concrete aprons. Outside Curblines or following resurfacing - Asphalt imprinted and colored crosswalks- Lighting assemblies (conduit, pull boxes, light poles)- Imprinted concrete sidewalk and utility strips, curb, and driveway restoration Your sealed bid should be delivered by U.S. Mail, public carrier--such as UPS, FEDEX--or by hand delivery to be dropped off in the White Mailbox outside the main parking lot entrance of Town Hall. Questions During the Bidding Period: Questions, requests for information or interpretations concerning the drawings or specifications, or any aspect of the project must be addressed in writing to the DIRECTOR OF PURCHASING, TOWN OF HUNTINGTON, Town Hall, 100 Main Street, Room 209, Huntington, New York 11743, or email at purchasing@huntingtonny.gov or Fax # (631) 351-2833 and to be given any consideration, must be received by the close of business, 4:30 p.m. EST, at least five (5) business days prior to the date fixed for the opening of bids. The Department's New York State-certified Minority and Women-owned Business Enterprises ("MWBEs") utilization goal is 30%. The Estimated Time of Completion for this project is (365) days The Suffolk County Sewer Project (CP8195 Huntington Station Hub - Contract 2) within these limits must be completed by July 1, 2026. The NYSDOT Mill and Fill Project (D265348 Asphalt Pavement Milling and Resurfacing - Location 2) will prevent work under this contract from occurring between July 1 and November 15, 2026.
