Renovation of an educational facility in Dayton, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Bidders must submit bids that comply with the version of the Standard Requirements included in the contract documents. The project is subject to prevailing wage rates and Equal Employment Opportunity requirements. The State of Ohio's Encouraging Diversity, Growth, and Equity ("EDGE") Business Development Program applies to this project; bidders must submit information about any EDGE-certified businesses participating in the project with their bid and qualifications. The EDGE Participation Goal for the project is 0 percent. Bidders must indicate on the electronic bid form where services will be performed in compliance with Executive Order 2019-12D (services provided only within the U.S.) and affirm compliance with Executive Order 2022-02D (no purchases from or investment in Russian institutions or companies). Domestic steel use requirements as specified in Ohio Revised Code Section 153.011 apply. Bidders are encouraged to be enrolled in and in good standing in a Substance Use Prevention and Recovery (SUPR) Program approved by the Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation prior to submitting a bid and must provide information about their enrollment. The contractor is responsible for scheduling the project, coordinating subcontractors, and providing other services identified in the contract documents. To access the project through the electronic bidding service, registration and creation of a digital ID are required, which may take up to five business days. Requests for consideration of proposed substitution for a specified product, equipment, or service must be submitted to the Architect/Engineer at least 10 days prior to bid opening. Bids must comply with the most recent version of the State of Ohio Standard Requirements for Public Facility Construction included in the contract documents. The contract documents are available for download from the State's electronic bidding service at no charge.
