Furnish all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to construct a drilled shaft pile retaining wall in accordance with the Lawrence County Engineer's specifications. Proposals must be in accordance with specifications and bidding documents available from the Lawrence County Engineer's Office. Each bidder must provide a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond per Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code, issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in Ohio. Bidders must include the full name of all parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein, and submit evidence of experience with projects of similar size and complexity. The project must be completed within 45 days of the Notice to Proceed. Contractors and subcontractors must use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor to the extent practicable. Compliance with the equal employment opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123, the Governor's Executive Order of 1972, and Governor's Executive Order 849 is required. Bidders must comply with Ohio prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Lawrence County as determined by the Department of Commerce. Proposals will be let with one contract on a unit price basis. The Commissioners reserve the right to waive irregularities and reject any or all bids. Question Deadline 03/19/2026 All Questions shall be submitted in writing to the Lawrence County Engineer via mail or fax up to 5 business days prior to the Bid Opening. Questions submitted after that deadline cannot be answered. Any questions about the proposal must be directed only to the Lawrence County Engineer, Patrick D. Leighty of the County Engineer's Office, phone number (740) 533- 4317. No other persons are authorized to answer any questions concerning the bid or proposal or documents. However, the bid documents as written will still govern in all cases and no interpretation, if offered, will serve to change the written terms of the proposal. Bid date desp- Bids may be mailed, delivered by parcel delivery service, or hand delivered; but it remains the bidders' responsibility that bids are received in the County Board of Commissioners' Office before the deadline. Bids received after the deadline for any reason cannot be opened or considered.
