The City of Bozeman is seeking proposals from firms for the complete Mill & Overlay of the public parking lot (Black Lot) at North Black St. and Mendenhall. All proposals must be provided as a single, searchable PDF document file and be submitted digitally as an email attachment to the specified City email address. Proposals must comply with level A and AA Success Criteria and Conformance Requirements as defined by current Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG). Only one PDF file per response is allowed, and the email attachment size limit is 25MB. Respondents are responsible for ensuring the file upload is completed and that the City is notified prior to the deadline. Late submittals will not be considered. Respondents will also be required to agree to the City's non-discrimination and equal pay affirmation. Work must include saw cutting as required and the excavation, haul-off, and proper disposal of the existing asphalt surfacing. The contractor shall perform grading and compaction of the existing base materials to prepare the surface for paving. Contractor must ensure all edges abutting new asphalt receive a tack coat to ensure proper bonding between the existing and new pavement surfaces. The contractor must furnish and install approximately 24,600 square feet of asphalt at a compacted thickness of three (3) inches. Upon completion of paving operations, the contractor must complete layout and striping of the parking lot, including restriping of existing parking lines. All ADA-compliant lines and stencils shall be painted, and pavement markings shall be restored to match existing striping and stencil configurations.
