The County of Orange, OC Public Works, is requesting competitive bids from qualified vendors for the ALWO Watershed Trail Exhibit. The project includes constructing an educational exhibit featuring a Desmostylus Skeleton embedded in rock, a concrete watershed platform with a 3D map, and a sand dig pit with simulated fossils. The contractor shall perform all work as required by, and in strict accordance with, the contract documents, which consists of: site grading and compaction as needed for feature installation; concrete footings for fossil wall and strata seating wall; concrete platform for watershed feature; sand dig pit with drainage improvements; installation of stabilized decomposed granite (DG) pathways; reconstruction of ADA accessible path of travel; construction of architectural stonework and strata seating walls; erosion and sediment control measures during construction; and protection of existing natural site conditions outside of work areas. This is a fully electronic solicitation - only electronic bids submitted through the County's online bidding system will be allowed; no other forms of bid submittals will be accepted.
