Construct an educational exhibit featuring a Desmostylus Skeleton embedded in rock, a concrete watershed platform with a 3D map, and a sand dig pit with simulated fossils. Question Submission Deadline :February 18, 2026, 2:00pm Contractor questions for clarification or interpretation regarding the Pre-Qualification Documents for this project shall be directed to: David Ro, Deputy Purchasing Agent ("DPA"), via County's online bidding system. Copies of California State Contractor's licenses are not required to be submitted with the Pre-Qualification Documents. All prospective bidders must possess the required licenses at the time of Pre-Qualification Documents submission. This Pre-Qualification process is to pre-qualify Contractors to be eligible to participate in the bidding process of ALWO WATERSHED TRAIL EXHIBIT, with an estimated construction cost of 311,880.00 which will be advertised for bids to the pre-qualified Contractors on 02/2026. This Pre-Qualification process will include submittal by the Contractor of completed Pre-Qualification Documents in Vendor Responses by the prescribed deadline and the County of Orange evaluation of Pre-Qualification Documents based on the list of scoring questions and scoring ranges. Only pre-qualified Contractors will be eligible to submit a bid for this project. The DPA will provide all official communication concerning this Pre-Qualification. With respect to this Pre-Qualification, any County response other than from the DPA and in writing will be unauthorized and the County shall bear no responsibility for any and all reliance upon the unauthorized communication. Contractor shall perform all work as required by, and in strict accordance with, the Contract Documents (the Project), which consists of: x Site grading and compaction as needed for feature installation x Concrete footings for fossil wall and strata seating wall x Concrete platform for watershed feature x Sand dig pit with drainage improvements x Installation of stabilized decomposed granite (DG) pathways x Reconstruct ADA accessible path of travel x Construction of architectural stonework and strata seating walls x Erosion and sediment control measures during construction x Protection of existing natural site conditions outside of work areas
