Renovation of an educational facility in Springfield, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
General bids and sub-bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit that is not less than five (5%) of the greatest possible bid amount (including all alternates), and made payable to The city of springfield. General bidders must be certified by the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) in the following category of work, General Building Construction, and must submit a current DCAMM Certificate of Eligibility and signed DCAMM Prime/General Contractor Update Statement. Question Deadline 03/20/2026 at 4:00 PM ET All bidding Requests for Information (RFIs) shall be submitted online .(nwalker@springfieldcityhall.com) in order to be considered. The Project consists of but not limited to: Glenwood Elementary School AC upgrades to existing classrooms To ensure accurate accounting and documentation, the Awarding Authority will administer the construction using BidDocs' construction software. This is a contractual requirement; no alternative software will be accepted. The Awarding Authority will pay for the associated software costs, not the Contractor. The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women (MWBE) participation in all contracts.
