Sealed bids are invited for Phase I of the Parks and Waterways Department's Centennial Trail Asphalt Replacement project. Specifications, agreement drafts, exhibits, and bid submittal forms are available from the designated office. The Kootenai County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive formalities that do not affect the essential fairness of the bidding process, make awards in the interest of the County, and accept the bid deemed best overall for Kootenai County. Sealed bids must be received and properly marked for consideration. Kootenai County invites bids for the following work: Asphalt demolition, reconstruction, gravel placement, and asphalt overlay throughout miles 0-2 of the North ldaho Centennial Trail. The work will include demolition of the existing asphalt trail surface, new asphalt overlay, and placing new crushed gravel to create a consistent 2-foot gravel shoulder on either side of the asphalt surface.
