Construction to replace all Building 1 Windows of the William S. Middleton Memorial VA Hospital, a historic 1949-era, approximately 618,000-square-foot facility housing surgical, clinical, pharmacy, emergency, inpatient, research, laboratory, administrative, long-term care, mental health, kitchen, retail, and support functions. Work includes professional structural and architectural services; general demolition and construction; removal of existing window structures; and all interior and exterior alterations required to support installation of new window systems. Work will be performed under a design-bid-build contract and includes all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the window replacement in accordance with final specifications and drawings. In accordance with VAAR 836.204, the magnitude of construction is between $10,000,000.00 and $20,000,000.00. Location: William S.
