As of April 20, 2026 project was awarded to Vanguard Commercial Flooring, awarded amount is $11,279.52 Fayette County, Georgia is seeking quotes to remove and install new flooring in the kids' section of the library. A mandatory pre-quote conference will be held at the specified location to provide an opportunity for bidders to become familiar with the site and work conditions, and to ask questions. Quotes will be accepted until the designated deadline. SCOPE OF WORK 1. Contractor should remove the red carpet and cove base from the kid's section of library . 2. Contractor shall install new 2ft by 2ft Shaw carpet tile , color and style will be selected by the county , and black cove base . 3. Work hours are 8:00 a.m . to 8:00 p.m. Monday through Friday . 4. Contractor is responsible for getting all measurements for this project at the Pre -Quote meeting , this is the only time you can get measurements . 5. Contractor shall remove all construction material from building . 6. The contractor shall provide a dumpster or truck for removal to an approved dump site . 7. The contractor shall have signage , cones and caution tape to keep visitors out of work area . 8. Contractor shall always keep work areas clean this is a public building . 9. Contractor shall be responsible for moving all items out of work area and putting them back at completion of this project . 10. Contractor is responsible for all damage caused by them for the duration of this project . 11. Contractor is responsible for personnel , equipment , vehicles , tools , and materials needed to do the job completely . The Contractor is responsible for the conduct of their personnel while on County property . All personnel shall always conduct themselves in a professional manner . 13. Fayette Cuonty has a no Tobacco policy that includes chewing and vaping , all contractors shall abide by this policy . 14. Fayette County personnel will perform periodic inspections , if the county personnel find a problem the work will stop until the issue is resolved . 15. Contractor must be present at this pre - quote meeting , and this will be the only time contractors can get measurements .
