Site work for a service station / car wash facility in Raleigh, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a service station / car wash facility.

Provide equipment and labor to remove the existing 2000-gallon above ground storage tank (AST). Install a new 2000-gallon UL 2085 Fireguard double wall AST; install 3-inch fill piping for remote fill; install product piping; install Wayne dispenser supplied by the customer and connect it to the existing fuel controller; install bollards around the tank and dispenser; haul and dispose of all debris. All questions related to this solicitation must be submitted in writing via email. Prospective proposers are encouraged to submit written questions in advance. Attendance at a pre-proposal conference or site visit, if conducted, is strongly encouraged but not mandatory. Late proposals will not be accepted. Question Deadline 06/09/2026 at 3:00 PM ET .Requests for clarification and questions to this Construction ITB must be received by the City by this date. George Francis, George.Francis@raleighnc.gov. The City's goal is to contract and sub-contract fifteen percent (15%) of the total contract amount to Certified MWBEs on construction projects of $300,000 or more, or contracts of $100,000 or more that include any State funding. Scope: 1. Removal o Disconnect and remove existing 2,000 Gallon Above Ground Storage Tank. o Properly dispose of the old AST per local regulations. o Remove existing electrical sub-panel at fuel island. 2. AST Replacement o Supply a new 2,000-gallon AST that is UL 2085 compliant. o Transportation of AST and equipment to the site, and storage of AST and equipment on site are the responsibility of the contractor. 3. Installation: o Install the new UL 2085 AST in the same physical location. o Install 3" fill piping for remote fill; install product piping; o Install Wayne dispenser supplied by customer and connect to existing fuel controller o Install shielded cable from new tank to existing tank monitor for probe. o Install Emergency Fuel shutoff at fuel island. o All work to meet electrical code. o Haul and dispose of all debris. 4. Instrumentation o Furnish and install new tank gauge that will integrate with the E.J. Ward Fuel Management system (Omntec Tank Monitor). 5. Commissioning & Testing: o Perform startup and performance testing. o Coordinate with facility management for final acceptance testing. 6. Documentation: o Provide complete warranty information to city staff. 7. Work Hours o All work is to be performed during normal business hours (Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm) unless otherwise specified.
