The New York Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation seeks to retain six professional design teams in the field of Engineering to provide services on a term contracting basis for several State Park Regions. Services may include project schematics, design, phase studies, investigations, assessments, reports, and related design services supporting the Capital program in the specified regions. Anticipated project types include utility design and upgrades, storm drainage and stormwater management, waterfront and shoreline designs, environmental protection, building design, restrooms and bathhouse design, roadway and infrastructure improvements, multi-use trail design, amusement park ride foundations, recreational facility design, geotechnical investigations, slope stabilization, wetland investigations, bridge design, permitting services, surveying, archeology services, hazardous material abatement, heat pump and solar installations, among others. Bidders must be knowledgeable in building codes and local ordinances as they relate to projects under this agreement, and possess disciplines including but not limited to: civil, structural, mechanical/electrical/plumbing (MEP), transportation, environmental, geotechnical engineering, cost estimating, and surveying.
