Renovation of an industrial development in Winston Salem, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a industrial development.
The project includes the replacement of the controls for the building automation system at the 4001 North Liberty Street Facility. Scope includes installation of new control panels, wiring, VAV controllers, valves and actuators. Contractors must be properly licensed as required by Chapter 87 of the North Carolina General Statutes to bid and perform the work described herein as the general contractor. A 5% Bid Bond is required at time of bid and 100% Performance & Payment Bonds will be required of the awarded contractor. Bidders are encouraged to carefully read and understand the contents of the Bidding Documents. The M/WBE subcontracting goals for this project are 10% MBE and WBE cumulatively. A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held on site for prospective bidders to explain the scope of work, observe existing conditions, and discuss MWBE goals. Forsyth County will not entertain bids from firms who do not have a representative attend this meeting and sign in.
