Site work for a water / sewer project in Brownstown, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Replacement of approximately 35,840 lineal feet of 4-inch water main, 39,920 lineal feet of 6-inch water main, bores, valves, hydrants, meters, and appurtenances for a complete system. Bids are requested for Phase 14, Fayette Water Company, Water Main Improvements, Fayette County, Illinois. A certified check or bank draft payable to the order of Fayette Water Company, negotiable U.S. Government bonds at par value, or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and acceptable surety in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total Bid shall be submitted with each Bid. Not less than the Federal prevailing wages as set forth in the Contract Documents must be paid on this project. The work to be performed is subject to the requirements of Section 3, 24 CFR Part 75. The Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants are not discriminated against because of race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. The Contractor shall complete and return the Intent to Comply with Section 3 Requirements with their submitted Bid. Bidders must not be excluded from participating in any federal assistance program. Fayette Water Company reserves the right to reject any or all Bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. This project is subject to the Build America, Buy America Act (BABAA) requirements under Title IX of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, with waivers for De Minimis, Small Grants, and Minor Components.
