Site work for a water / sewer project in Mill Valley, California. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work includes furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment for the construction of sewer improvements, including internal televising of sewer mains and laterals, excavation, pipebursting, open cut excavation and pipe and manhole replacement, spot repairs, structural support, CCTV, rehabilitation and reconnection of sewer laterals, providing quotes for replacement of private sewer laterals as directed, disposal of all materials including asbestos cement pipe, backfill, plug and overlay of AC paving, and all surface and landscape restoration, together with all appurtenances, connections, and testing for a completed and operational project as shown on the Plans and as specified. Bids must be sealed and delivered by the specified time and date. Bidders must obtain bidding documents from the specified print service, pay all fees, and ensure their inclusion on the planholder's list to receive addenda. Each proposal must be accompanied by a ten percent bidder's security and, if awarded, must provide payment and performance bonds for one hundred percent of the bid amount. Bidders must possess a Class A California Contractor's License and comply with all applicable provisions of the California Labor Code, including payment of prevailing wage rates. No contractor or subcontractor may be listed or awarded a contract unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations.
