Renovation of a religious / funeral development in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a religious / funeral development.
The project consists of building repairs and upgrades to the Kemper Center Chapel, located at 6501 3rd Ave, Kenosha, WI 53143. The work includes, but is not limited to: wall and ceiling plaster work and repainting, refinishing of doors and doorways, replacing tile and carpet floors, updating lighting, and replacing handrails. The refinishing of wooden church pews and wooden floors is included as an alternate. The goal of this project is to restore the building as close to original standards as possible while updating its accessibility and preserving its historical integrity. Bidders are instructed that sealed bids are to be submitted to Kenosha County. Complete bid or proposal packages can be obtained from the State of Wisconsin's VendorNet website. Vendors must register at https://esupplier.wi.gov to receive notifications of addendum and future bids. Kenosha County reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to select the vendor considered most advantageous, to request additional information, to clarify responses, to award a contract for only some but not all items in the solicitation, and to waive minor irregularities.
