Site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Ellsworth, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.
This project is located west of the Water Treatment Facility at 1755 Detroit Street in Ellsworth, Iowa and consists of excavation, site grading, foundation construction, steel tower erection, piping and controls for a 200,000 gallon elevated water storage tank along with related appurtenances for all proposed work. Sealed proposals for the work comprising the repair or improvement as stated below must be filed before 3:00 P.M. on April 7, 2026, in the office of the City Clerk, 1528 DeWitt Street, Ellsworth, Iowa 50075. Sealed proposals will be opened and publicly read with bids being tabulated at that time and place. The results will be reported to the City of Ellsworth at its meeting at 6:00 P.M. on April 13, 2026 at 1528 DeWitt Street, Ellsworth, Iowa 50075, at which time the City Council may take action on the proposals submitted or at such time as may then be fixed.
