District Wide Capital Improvement Project - Contract No. 6 - Roofing. Bidders may withdraw their bids without prejudice prior to the official submission time or any publicized postponement. Bid and contract documents can be examined at the office of BCA Architects & Engineers. Printed or digital copies of the bidding documents are available by completing a Bid Set Request Form online. Printed sets require a $100.00 deposit per set, and an additional $15.00 per set for mailing, or bidders may provide a UPS/FedEx account number. Digital copies are provided at no cost. Plans and specifications remain property of BCA Architects & Engineers and printed sets must be returned in good condition within thirty (30) business days after the award or rejection of bids. Deposits are refunded for bona fide bidders and partially refunded to non-bidders and unsuccessful bidders if documents are returned in good condition. Additional information, including the plan deposit policy, plan holders list, pre-bid estimates, and addendums, may be found online. Contractors may request a pre-bid walkthrough by contacting the Director of Facilities and Transportation. Bids must be prepared as outlined in the Information to Bidders and submitted in a sealed envelope with the bidder's name, address, phone number, and project title. The Owner may disqualify bidders for material failure to comply with instructions and reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities or defects. Doc note: Bidders wishing documents mailed to them shall include, in addition to the document deposit, a non-refundable check of $15.00 per set for handling and postage or a UPS/FedEx account number. There is no cost to the bidders for digital copies. PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS REMAIN THE PROPERTY OF BCA Architects & Engineers AND PRINTED MUST BE RETURNED IN GOOD CONDITION WITHIN THIRTY (30) BUSINESS DAYS AFTER AWARD OF CONTRACT OR REJECTION OF BIDS. The plan deposit for one set of Plans and Specifications will be refunded to bona fide bidders returning Plans and Specifications to BCA Architects & Engineers within 30 business days after award of Contract or rejection of bids. A partial refund of the plan deposit, in an amount equal to the full amount of such deposit, less the actual cost of reproduction of the Plans and Specifications shall be made to nonbidders and unsuccessful bidders for the return of all other copies of the Plans and Specifications in good condition within 30 business days following the award of the Contract or the rejection of the bids.
