The amount of the engineer's estimate of the cost of said improvements (exclusive of engineering, fiscal, legal, interest, easement acquisition, and miscellaneous costs) is $80,800.00. Sealed proposals are being requested for furnishing all labor, tools, materials, and equipment required to construct SIDEWALK & CURB RAMPS - SECTION I for Sanitary and Improvement District 484, Douglas County, Nebraska. The work includes the following estimated quantities: constructing 7" PCC curb ramps (96 SF), constructing detectable warning panels (16 SF), constructing 4" PCC sidewalks (6,682 SF), installing seeding - Type "A" (10,400 SY), installing rolled erosion control, type S-75 (10,400 SY), installing curb inlet protection (8 EA), and installing silt fence (500 LF). Proposals must be submitted on specified bid forms and must include a bid bond or certified check in the amount of at least $4,040.00 as security. Successful bidders will be required to execute a contract and maintenance bond for 100% of the contract price. Proposals must be enclosed in a sealed envelope with proper labeling, and bid security must be in a separate envelope attached to the proposal. No bidder may withdraw their proposal for 60 days after the opening. The responsible bidder submitting the lowest acceptable bid will be awarded the contract, subject to plans, specifications, and compliance with all stated requirements. The district reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities.
