Enforcement services may include traffic control and/or safety measures. Law enforcement officers who work inside the construction zones must hold at a minimum Commission on Law Enforcement Standards and Training (CLEST) Basic Certification. These officers will be required to have also completed the following training: Traffic Incident Management (TIM) course (either in-person or online) and provide a course issued certificate showing its completion. The Arkansas Highway Police can facilitate a TIM class for officers if necessary. A 2-Hour Work Zone Enforcement and Safety course instructed by the Arkansas Highway Police at no cost to the local law enforcement agency, and provide a course issued certificate showing its completion. This course will include information on the make-up of the work zone, safe practices for law enforcement working in work zones, and other pertinent information. The Purpose of This Project Resurface Approximately 2.174 Miles on Highway 77 in Crittenden County. This Project Consists of Aggregate Base Course, Achm Surface Course, Scarifying Concrete Pavement, Maintenance of Traffic, Rumble Strips, Pavement Marking, and Misc. Items.
