Work includes temporary storage and bypass facilities to maintain reclaimed water operations during construction; demolition and removal of the existing tank and associated components; removal and replacement of existing sidewalk and fencing as required for construction access and installation; installation of yard piping and connections to the existing reclaimed water system; tank level instrumentation and pump controls integration; electrical work; site work including grading and subgrade preparation; erosion and sedimentation controls; restoration; and all other necessary appurtenant work required for a complete and operational system. The project includes the following bid alternates: installation of a cathodic protection system (Alternate No. 1) and installation of an epoxy lining system (Alternate No. 2).
