Sealed bids will be received for the new track, football field, and site improvements. All bids must be on a lump sum basis; segregated bids will not be accepted. Bid documents, specifications, and construction drawings are available by request. All bidding requirements and items required to be submitted with the bids will be noted in detail in the bid documents. Bid Security in the amount of 5% of the bid must accompany each bid, made payable to Fruitland School District #373. Performance bond and labor and materials payment bond in the amount equal to 100% of the contract amount will be required within five days after the receipt of a properly prepared agreement between Owner and Contractor. The owner reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject any or all bids. No bidder may withdraw their bid after the time set for opening thereof, or before award of Contract, unless award is delayed for a period exceeding thirty days. Bid proposals will be accepted only from contractors who, prior to the bid opening, hold current licenses as public work contractors in the State of Idaho. The mailing envelope containing the bid is to be addressed appropriately. Bidder is to acknowledge the receipt of each addendum individually on the bid proposal form.
