Proposals are being accepted for a Janitorial Service Contract at various city-owned properties. The contract term is from June 1, 2026, to June 1, 2027, with the option for the city to extend for two additional years. Bidders must provide pricing as detailed in the specified attachment and itemize costs for additional options. The pricing must include all costs including delivery, accessories, and options. Any changes in the scope of services after the agreement is signed must be documented as a written change order signed by all parties and made part of the agreement. Proposals are only considered from bidders or individuals firmly established in the appropriate business, with practical knowledge and resources to perform the required services professionally and expediently. The city reserves the right to be the sole judge of these criteria. Instructions to bidders include: - Submission of a completed bid form, statement of bidder's qualifications, signature page, and any other required documents. - Ensuring the bid is submitted by the deadline and in the correct form. - Notification of any errors or omissions encountered in the documents. - Only written addenda will be considered official clarifications, explanations, or corrections. - Bids by corporations must be executed by authorized officers with names and titles printed. - Multiple contractors may form a team to submit a joint proposal, with a single lead company or individual responsible. Pricing and project timeline must be honored for at least 90 days from proposal submission. The city reserves the right to negotiate a contract with any submitting contractor within this period. Proposals will only be accepted from entities current on all financial obligations to the city. A mandatory site visit is required prior to bid submission to fully understand the project scope. No costs incurred in bid preparation or attending site visits or meetings will be reimbursed by the city. The city reserves the right to amend the invitation, reject all proposals, abandon the process, or terminate the award with or without cause at its sole discretion. Preference is given to Colorado labor for at least eighty percent of all labor performed on the project.
