Site work for a water / sewer project in Rosebud, South Dakota. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The work requires the construction of a community water supply line on the Rosebud Indian Reservation, Todd County, South Dakota. The scope includes 3,233 linear feet of 6" SDR 21 PVC Water Main, one hydrant, two water main gate valves and boxes, two air release valve pits, two vault structures, site electrical work, 140 linear feet of chain link fence, one pitless unit, one 50 HP submersible pump, 160 linear feet of 6" drop pipe, four 6" check valves, well disinfection, and installation of a SCADA system. The total contract price will not be increased without prior authorization from the Owner via the change order process. Bidders must supply a valid contractor's license for the state where the work will occur or a certification of renewal, and for Indian owned firms, registration from TECRO. Preference up to 5% above the lowest total bid may be given to qualified Indian owned firms registered with the local TECRO Office. All contractors must comply with the EPA Construction General Permit requirements and RST TECRO policies, including paying a TECRO fee of 4.5% of the total contract amount and submitting a TECRO compliance plan before beginning work. Contractors are responsible for all taxes, including a 2% Contractor's Excise Tax paid with each progress payment, and must obtain a Tribal Business License from the RST Revenue Department. Envelopes must be clearly marked with the bid number and description.
