Site work for a road / highway in Harahan, Louisiana. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The project consists of the removal of existing Entergy maintained lights and the installation of new streetlights and concrete bases along Colonial Club Dr. from Jefferson Highway to Riverside Dr. The Contractor shall hold a Louisiana Contractor’s license in Electrical Work (Statewide). All bids must be in accordance with the contract documents on file with the City of Harahan. Each Bid must be accompanied by a bid surety bond in the amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total amount bid, and payable without condition to the owner. An executed affidavit and attestation form must also be submitted prior to bid award. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a payment bond and a performance bond guaranteeing faithful performance of the contract. Companies providing the bonds shall comply with the requirements of LRS-R.S. 38:2218 and R.S. 38:2219 as applicable. The City of Harahan reserves the right to reject all bids and to reject bids for just cause, pursuant to the law.
