Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in San Leandro, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The project involves exterior site work at various buildings on the Fairmont Hospital campus in San Leandro to create an accessible path of travel from parking lots to main building entrances. The scope of work will include hard demo, rough grading, base rock, concrete paving, asphalt paving, and striping. The site is indicated to have naturally occurring asbestos within the soil, and subcontractors performing soil disturbing work are required to maintain and follow a naturally occurring asbestos soils work plan, including the required OSHA awareness and respirator trainings. Work on campus should be assumed to occur during normal working hours. Pricing must be broken out per site for Cherry Hill Detox, Eden MH Chapel, and Cherry Hill Sobering. Each subcontractor is responsible to ensure that the bid is submitted prior to the deadline. Rodan Builders will award the subcontracts, if it awards at all, based on the "best value" criteria permitted under Education Code § 17406 and authorized by the District's governing board.
