Site work and paving for a civil project in Champlin, Minnesota. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; and road / highway.
As of April 29, 2026 project was awarded to North Valley Inc, awarded amount is $2,949,827.01 The project includes the furnishing of all labor and materials for the complete in-place construction of the following approximate quantities: 114 each remove casting, 7,696 linear feet remove curb & gutter, 43,001 square yards full depth reclamation, 5,380 tons Type SP 9.5 wear course mix (2,C), 6,710 tons Type SP 12.5 non wear course mix (2,C), 5,672 square feet sheet steel piling, 219 each gate valve bolt replacement, 18,050 linear feet 12" RC pipe sewer Des 3006 CL V, 4,715 each casting assembly special, 50 cubic yards gabions, 6,786 linear feet concrete curb and gutter special, 11,750 linear feet 1.5" non-metallic conduit, 59,490 linear feet underground wire 1/C 8 AWG. The provisions of MINN. STAT. 16C.285 Responsible Contractor are imposed as a requirement of this contract. All bidders and entities submitting a response must comply with this statute. Bids will only be accepted electronically through QuestCDN. The City Council reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any received without explanation. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days. For further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the instructions to bidders in the bidding documents. Question Deadline 03/26/2026 Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all registered plan holders. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
