This project will include: site preparation; potholing of existing utilities; relocation of existing utilities; hot tap/line stop; temporary diversion piping; traffic control; and restoration. A. The Work described in this section provides a general description of the major work and does not include all work to be performed by the CONTRACTOR. 1. Site preparation 2. Potholing of existing utilities in and around AR1 and AR2 excavations. 3. Temporary de-energizing and removal of a CenterPoint Energy (CPE) 6-inch high-pressure gas main section and reinstallation of the missing section by CPE. 4. Site restoration CONTRACTOR shall complete the Work in the manner and within the time specified in the Contract Documents and furnish labor, materials, tools, appliances, and other items necessary or incidental to the Work required by or reasonably inferred from the Contract Documents. CONTRACTOR shall be solely responsible for the means, methods, and techniques of construction, except for means, methods, or techniques expressly detailed on the Drawings or explicitly required by the Specifications.
