Renovation of an educational facility in Clovis, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Sealed bids are being requested for the construction of Clovis East PA System Replacement, in accordance with provided drawings and specifications. A mandatory job walk is required for all bidders. The project duration is 180 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. Bids must be sealed and submitted on time, accompanied by a bidders bond, cashiers check, or certified check for at least ten percent of the base bid. All contractors must comply with fingerprinting and student safety requirements, and verification of compliance is required prior to starting work. Proof of a valid Class "C-7" license and registration with the Department of Industrial Relations is mandatory. The lowest bid is determined based on the sum of the base contract and all bid alternates. The Owner reserves the right to waive irregularities and reject bids. No bid may be withdrawn for sixty days after the opening. The project is subject to prevailing wage and labor compliance monitoring.
