The work is to be completed within 60 calendar days from the start of the project, as established by the Owner's Notice to Proceed. Bids must be sealed and submitted to the Purchasing Department before the specified deadline. Bids must include a bidder's bond, cashier's check, or certified check for at least 10% of the base bid. Contractors must be licensed in the State of California with a Class "B" or "C-39" license. The bid is subject to pre-qualification requirements for Prime Contractors and listed subcontractors, especially those with Electrical, Mechanical, or Plumbing licenses.
