The work consists of road paving projects at the following locations: CR 775 S from SR 3 RW to CR 50 W, CR 550 S from CR 461 E to US 35 RW, CR 600 W from SR 28 RW to Gaston Town Limits, and CR 650 E from CR 350 N to Albany Town Limits in Delaware County, Indiana. Construction shall be in accordance with the specifications available with the County Engineering Department. All bids must be accompanied by a completed Itemized Proposal, completed Form 96 with required attachments, a non-discrimination affidavit, bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid (in the form of a bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check), and any other bidding documents described in the instructions to bidders. Bid security will be forfeited as liquidated damages if the bidder withdraws a bid within sixty days after the opening date without consent of the owner, or fails to execute a satisfactory contract within ten days after notice of acceptance. The successful bidder will be required to furnish performance and payment bonds for 100% of the contract sum. The owner reserves the right to accept or reject any bid and to waive any irregularities in the bidding. All bids may be held for up to 60 days before awarding the contract.
