Sealed bids are being solicited for the furnishing and delivering of materials, supplies, and services necessary for the maintenance, construction, and reconstruction of county roads and bridges. Items include: various INDOT-conforming asphalt mixes (up to 40,000 tons), various INDOT-conforming gradations of crushed stone or sand (up to 30,000 tons), transportation bids for maintenance crushed stone or sand per ton-mile, unleaded gasoline (87 Octane, up to 50,000 gallons), blended diesel fuel (up to 50,000 gallons), No. 2 diesel fuel (up to 50,000 gallons), and biodiesel blended fuel (20% Biodiesel B20, up to 50,000 gallons). Bids must be submitted in duplicate on Form 95 with a bidder's bond or certified check for not less than $500. Bidders may state if their bid is subject to an escalator clause related to material cost increases, with supporting documentation required monthly. Bids submitted without this declaration will be considered firm through March 31, 2027. Bids will be honored per location, availability, and county needs. No bidder may withdraw a bid for 60 days after opening. The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities.
