The project is for the 2026-1 Maintenance Improvement Program, which involves the mill, patch, and resurface of several roads within the City of Logansport, Indiana. The roads included in the project are: Lafayette Drive from George to Tomlinson, Walnut Ave from George to Maplewood, George St from W Roselawn to Walnut Ave, W Wabash Ave from Sr 25 to Helm St., Front St. from Helm St to RR Tracks 534064m, Jackson from Clifton to Meadlawn, Holland from Water St to Holland St, Holland St from Holland St to Holland St, Hanna from Clifton to 6th St., W Roselawn from US 24 to High St, Clifton Ave from Hanna to Northern Ave, Wilkinson from Bates to Wabash Ave, Melbourne from Western Ave to Sr 25, Melbourne Ave from Sr 25 to Front St., Ottawa from 6th to Sr 25, Aster from Water to Daisy, Daisy from Aster to Holland. The project includes structural HMA resurfacing with patching to the roadways as needed, 1.5-2 inches of milling, wedge and level as needed, pavement removal, patching of intermediate and aggregate as needed. The proposal must be made on the forms provided in the bid packets. Each bid must be accompanied by a cashier's or certified check, or an acceptable bidder's bond, in an amount not less than five percent of the total amount of the bid, payable to the City. The bidder must supply all information required by the bid proposal form. Liquidated damages for delay and work hours are as provided in the technical specifications. Partial payment will be made monthly based on an approved payment requisition. The contractor and all subcontractors must comply with all required Federal and State labor regulations including Equal Employment Opportunity, E-Verify, Non-segregated Facilities, and Affirmative Action requirements. The City reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or parts thereof and to waive all responsibility for irregularities in bids. Bids may be held by the City for up to 60 days for review and investigation of bidder qualifications before awarding the contract.
