Renovation of an educational facility in Logansport, Indiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade educational facility.
Sealed proposals are requested for the Roof Replacement Project at LCSC Century Career Center located at 2500 Hopper Street, Logansport, Indiana. Proposals must be submitted in duplicate on the Bid Supplement form, with required accompanying documents including Indiana State Board of Account Form No. 96 (2013), Parts I and II. A certified check, cashier's check, money order or satisfactory Bid Bond, made payable to the Owner for at least 5% of the total bid price, is required. Prime contractors are to encourage and provide evidence of efforts to solicit quotations from qualified minority subcontractors for any portions of work not performed by their own forces. Work shall follow the specifications and Contract Drawings prepared by the Architect/Consultant. Proposals must be submitted in a sealed opaque envelope showing the bidder's name and address. The project is let as a single, prime contract, and both base and alternate bids should be submitted as described in the Bidding Documents. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any bid or waive informalities or errors within a 30-day period. The successful bidder must provide Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds for 100% of the contract amount, effective for 12 months after work acceptance, with the bonds furnished upon written Notice to Proceed.
