The City of Medford Parks, Recreation, & Facilities Department is seeking a qualified trail construction contractor to enhance the Twilight Trail at Prescott Park, located at 3030 Roxy Ann Rd., Medford OR 97504. The Twilight Trail is approximately 1.33 miles long and is on the southwest side of Prescott Park. Selected qualified trail construction contractor will be tasked with improving this trail to the cross section provided within proposal documents. Additionally, awarded contractor will be responsible for all labor, equipment, materials (rock and decomposed granite), grading, compacting, excavation, vegetation removal, native grass seeding, armoring, trail relocation, erosion control, and work zone protection to successfully enhance the trail to meet specifications as listed within the proposal exhibits. Lastly, in the Trail Assessment document, dirt is referred to as 'borrow dirt" and all efforts shall be made to utilize dirt onsite that is generated from grading and trail enhancement. Trail enhancements will be executed as weather allows and coordinated with the project manager. The completed trail will match typical cross section outlined in Exhibit B and will be inspected by the project manager upon completion to ensure design criteria are met. All work under this solicitation is subject to current BOLI prevailing wage rates. Also, bid bonds, performance and payment bonds will be required for this project. Costing shall include this added expense.
