The purpose and intent of this Invitation to Bid is to establish a firm fixed price contract with one qualified source to replace a section of roof at Hedrick Middle School. Hedrick Middle School roof section facing N. Keene Way Dr. Aproximately 14,400 square feet This project is based on following Carlisle Versico 20 year NDL warranty specifications. Clean and prep roof. Remove all cap metal and set aside for reinstallation later. Adhere 115 Mil Versico fleese-back PVC membrane to existing hot roof using low rise adhesive in splatter pattern. Tie in existing new roof into existing membrane roof on North east corner per manufacturer's specifications. Flash all walls, pipes and curbs per manufacturer's specifications. Reinstall drain rings and cap metal Clean up and haul away debris created from roof work. The contractor responsibilities also include Must have a license with the Oregon Construction Contractors Board. Must have a Public Works Bond on file with the Oregon Construction Contractors Board as this is a prevailing wage project. Must turn in all required documents included in this ITB. Must have a bid bond in its original form included in your bid submission. Obtain all required permits from governing agencies. Must provide performance and payment bonds once the contract has been executed. The project can start after contract is executed, performance and payment bonds have been received, insurance is on file and all background checks for employees have been cleared. The project will be awarded to one contractor based on the lowest bid. The purpose and intent of Invitation to Bid #26-06-23 is to establish a firm fixed price contract with one qualified source to complete necessary roofing at Hedrick Middle School. The district reserves the right to (1) reject any Proposal not in compliance with all prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements, (2) to add to the price bid by nonresident bidders an increase equal to the percent preference that the nonresident bidders home state would give it's instate bidders and (3) to reject for good cause any or all Proposals that are not in the best interest of the district (4) to reject any or all proposals, in whole or in part, to waive any formalities and to delete items prior to making the award, whenever its is deemed in the sole opinion of the Medford School District to be in the best interest of the District.
