Renovation of a detention facility in Saint Gabriel, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
Sealed bids are invited for the Cellblock Plumbing Upgrade at Elayn Hunt Correctional Center, St. Gabriel, Louisiana, under Project Number 01-107-24-03, F.01004712. Bidding documents can be obtained electronically from Eyre Engineering, LLC. All bids must include bid security equal to five percent of the base bid and all alternates. The successful bidder must furnish a Performance and Payment Bond as described in the instructions. Only contractors licensed in the classification of Mechanical under LA. R.S. 37:2150-2192 may submit bids. Bids cannot be withdrawn for forty-five days after receipt, except as allowed by LA. R.S. 38:2214. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids for just cause. Participation in the Small Entrepreneurship (Hudson Initiative) and Veteran-Owned Small Entrepreneurship (LaVet) programs is encouraged. Further instructions and requirements are outlined in the bid documents and must be followed by all bidders.
