Site work for a sidewalk / parking lot in Murphy, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a 20,475-square-foot sidewalk / parking lot.
Sealed bids are invited for furnishing all labor, material, and equipment, and performing all work required for construction of approximately 2,275 square yards of 5-inch thick reinforced concrete sidewalk at 4,000 PSI with #3 rebar on 18-inch center, 2,275 square yards of 2-inch flex base, and 11 barrier-free ramps, together with all necessary appurtenances. Sidewalks equal to 5 feet or under in width will be 5-inch thick, and sidewalks greater than 5 feet in width will be 6-inch thick. Proposals must be accompanied by a cashier's or certified check or bid bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total maximum bid price. The low bidder must qualify within five working days after bid opening by submitting evidence of financial responsibility, experience, and possession of necessary equipment. The successful bidder must furnish a performance bond and a material and labor payment bond, each in the amount of 100 percent of the contract price. The right is reserved to reject any and all bids, and to waive any informality in bids received. Plans, specifications, and bidding documents may be downloaded from CivcastUSA.com.
