As of April 22, 2026 project was awarded to Willkomm Excavating & Grading, Inc., awarded amount is $255,740.99 The project includes the construction of two new bioretention facilities around Elkhorn Lake, located within the area enclosed by Proctor Drive and Koopman Lane. The bioretention facilities are to be installed along the eastern and northern shoreline sections of the lake. Work will consist of excavation, site grading, installation of storm sewer outfall structures and associated piping, and the full construction of the bioretention basins with all required appurtenances. Major work items and approximate quantities for which bids are requested include: 100 inch diameter of clearing and grubbing, 3 each 4-ft diameter concrete outlet structures, 1,700 lineal feet of silt fence, 2 lump sums of bioretention facilities between 400 square yards and 600 square yards on the bottom contour of the facility, 1,370 lineal feet of associated PVC storm sewer piping, and 2,200 square yards of landscape restoration. Bidders must submit bids electronically complete a Bidders Qualification Statement form, provide a full and complete list of proposed Subcontractors and the class of work each will perform, and furnish a Bid Bond in the amount equal to five percent of the bid.
