Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The scope of work includes construction of the 2026 Paving Program, which consists of six work sections comprised of pulverizing, excavation, grading, curb and gutter, asphaltic pavement, concrete sidewalk, pavement saw cutting, traffic control, erosion control, and restoration. Major work items and approximate quantities are: 88,000 square yards of pulverizing asphaltic pavement, 6,000 cubic yards of excavation, 11,800 tons of base aggregate dense, 20,900 tons of HMA pavement, 6,100 linear feet of curb and gutter, and 250 sanitary or storm structure adjustments or reconstructions. Work is subject to the Wisconsin Local Roads Improvement Program (LRIP) and must comply with its requirements. This is a unit price contract, and estimated quantities are provided to determine the low bidder. All bidders must file a Bidders Qualification Statement with the Owner at least seven days prior to the bid opening date. Bidders and subcontractors must file a 3-Year Contractors Qualification Application and pay a $75.00 application fee if not previously submitted after January 31, 2025. Bids must be submitted electronically, with all blanks completed, and accompanied by bid security equal to five percent of the maximum bid price. The successful bidder must furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond for the contract amount and provide a list of subcontractors and suppliers with a total value of $1,000 or more. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities as appropriate.
