As of May 06, 2026 project was awarded to Beardsley Concrete llc, awarded amount is $44,262.50. The work includes furnishing of all materials and equipment and performance of the following work, according to the Plans, Specifications and Contract Documents (PS & CD). The Base Bid work for the above contract includes removal and replacement of sidewalk in the respective locations throughout the City of Burlington. Major items of work and approximate quantities for which bids are requested include: 2700 SF Concrete Sidewalk 4-Inch, 250 SF Concrete Sidewalk 6-Inch, 60 LF of concrete curb and gutter, 10 SY Asphalt Patching, and 120 SF of ADA Curb Ramp. A Bidders qualification statement form will be issued with the Bid Documents and must be completed and submitted online along with the bid submittal. No Bid will be accepted from any Bidder who has not submitted a Bidders Qualification Statement form. Contractors who have submitted a prequalification statement to the Owner, for this calendar year and for the work specific to this project, shall state this on their Bidders Qualification Statement form. These qualification forms, and prequalification forms, will be reviewed; however, updated proof of qualification may be requested by the Owner prior to acceptance of any Bid. The Owner reserves the right to reject the Bid of any Bidder who has been determined to be unqualified. All Bids shall be accompanied by Bid Security in the form of a Bid Bond, bank money order, or a qualified certified check, payable to the Owner, in the amount equal to five percent of the Bid. This requirement serves to guarantee that, if the Owner accepts the Bid, the selected Contractor will execute and deliver the proper Contract Agreement and Bonds within 15 calendar days after the Notice of Award by the Owner. Failure to return these documents within this prescribed time will result in forfeiture, to the Owner, of the selected Contractor's Bid Security, as liquidated damages. Prospective bidders must be on the plan holders list through online for Bids to be accepted. Bidders may not withdraw their Bid within the 90-day period after the date of the bid opening. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive or not waive any informality in the bids received and to accept any proposal, which they deem most favorable to the interests of the Owner.
